Here are my album cover rankings. I consider Risk to have the worst album cover out of all of them.

United Abominations is criminally underrated

Endgame in bad is crazy to me. It's one of their best albums since 2000. But I really like to see TSTSATD getting some love!

The tier list above is my ranking of the cover art for each album, not the album itself. My next ranking will be each album.

I have never been too impressed by Endgame. I think the band (or just Dave?) tried too hard to make a more straightforward thrash metal album, therefore limiting their songwriting capabilities. I prefer United Abominations and TSHF for their prominent melodic touches - they were definitely Dave's strong point at the time.

I must add that The World Needs A Hero is a solid album compared to its reputation. It's a really cheesy album but that's Megadeth for you. It's an enjoyable listen for me and I prefer it to Endgame.

United Abominations is really good. This may seem like a stretch, but it reminds me of RIP, where the tracks are back to sounding complex (in my opinion) TSHF and TWNAH aren't for me since I don't find them as interesting, but they're much better than Risk.
